Needless to say, almost every home has a ladder for one purpose or another. Some jobs, such as those in construction, actually require their use on a daily basis. Unfortunately, ladder accidents and resulting injuries are far too common on these tools, with many being a result of defective products.

Meet The Attorneys
Kevin R. Marciano, Esquire is the managing partner of Marciano Legal. He is always well-prepared and prides himself on his knowledge of the law. Mr. Marciano has extensive knowledge handling ladder accident cases and has secured settlements as high as $7.15 million for victims. Notably, Mr. Marciano has filed suit against the company Werner four times for the same manufactured defects in their ladders. Werner is the leading manufacturer of ladders, step stools, scaffolding, and fire escapes in the United States.
Mr. Marciano is a member of and frequent writer and lecturer for the Pennsylvania Association of Justice (PAJ, formerly Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association). He was an officer of PAJ, and formerly served as President from 2009-2010. He is also a member of the American Association of Justice, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and Delaware County Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Marciano has been involved with the following PAJ committees: Chairman of the Membership Committee; Co-Chair of the Legislative Network Committee; Public Relations Committee; Vice Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee; Fund Development Committee; Legislative Policy Committee; Long Range Planning Committee and created the Business Partner’s Program. He was also a member of the New Lawyer Section Leadership Council, serving as their chairman in the past.
Mr. Marciano was the past president of the Young Lawyers Section of the Delaware County Bar Association, and a former member of the Executive Board of the Guy G. deFuria American Inn of Court. Mr. Marciano also participates in planning and attending holiday parties for underprivileged children in Delaware County. For many years, he dressed up as Santa Claus. He has presented anti-smoking mock trials in elementary schools throughout southeastern Pennsylvania in an effort to educate children on the dangers of smoking and use of tobacco products. In 2002, Mr. Marciano was recognized as one of the “50 on the Fast Track,” a listing of the top 50 young attorneys in the State of Pennsylvania by the Legal Intelligencer and has been consistently named a “Super Lawyer” by Philadelphia Magazine.
Mr. Marciano received his Bachelor degree from Dickinson College. He earned his law degree, with honors, from Capital University Law School. Upon graduation, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Anthony R. Semeraro in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County.

Evan Sing is a Delaware County native and grew up in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Mr. Sing has been part of the Widener Pride since graduating high school. He attended Widener University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. Upon graduation, Mr. Sing attended Widener University’s Delaware Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree.
Mr. Sing joined Marciano Legal, as an associate in 2022. While in law school, Mr. Sing clerked at the firm during his second and third years of law school.
Mr. Sing is involved in several professional associations including the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Delaware County Bar Association, the Chester County Bar Association, Young Lawyers’ Division of both the Delaware County and Chester County Bar Associations, and the Pennsylvania Association of Justice (PAJ). He had served on the Board of Directors of Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Pennsylvania (PLAN of PA), a non-profit organization that provides care management for persons with disabilities. He carries an OSHA 10 certification in occupational and workplace safety.
